Quality Standards
At GWT we believe it is very important to give our customers a personalized and high-quality level of service. We want to make sure that the supply chain is safe, secure and reliable and we want to make sure that you are happy with all aspects of the shipping process.
We are members of both The British International Freight Association and the Chamber of commerce, and our services are compliant, trusted and completed in accordance with the highest industry standards.
Unlike many freight companies in the UK, We have full Approved Economic Operator status, meaning that we have demonstrated not only our highly safe and secure role in the supply chain but also that our customs activity is completed to the highest standard possible.
We are:
- BIFA member (British International Freight Association)
- All business transacted in accordance with the latest BIFA 2005 guidelines
- Full Chamber of Commerce Members
- Directors are graduate members of the Institute of Freight Forwarding (now ILP)
- AEO (Approved Economic Operator)
What is AEO? AEO status is an internationally recognised quality mark indicating that your role in the international supply chain is secure and that your customs controls and procedures are efficient and compliant.
What does this mean for you?
HMRC recognise us and are more likely to fast track your shipments through some customs, safety and security procedures.
This is because HMRC has rigorously tested our systems and procedures before granting the Quality Standard.
